do you have chocolate icecream recipe???

  • RecipeCook:

Here it is (if you don’t have a blender, whisk it well)-have to get that cocoa mixed in with no lumps before you process.

    Easy Chocolate Ice Cream
Combine 2 cups half & half, 1-1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 2 teaspoons vanilla in blender. Cover & blend on low speed til smooth. Whisk in 2cups whipping cream and freeze as directed-about 20 minutes. For Rocky Road, add 1/2 cup mini marshmallows and peanuts into ice cream right after freezing but while machine is still running.~Rita

Read the manual…. (1) TURN ON the machine (2) THEN pour the mixture in ! why do you think there is a big hole in the clear lid?

I wonder if it costs more to actually make ice cream, now that I seriously think about it. About the only good thing about DIY ice cream would be the sugar control, such as using Splenda.

    im going to try this

I don’t use the vanilla extract you buy at a store.
I buy vanilla beans from a local farmer who grows them himself.
He and his brother sell them at the local Farmers’ market, in little glass vials, still in the seed pods.
They told me how to make my own.
You haven’t had vanilla, until you’ve had it fresh.
